7 Home made Cocktails

TGIF! The weekend has finally arrived and now it’s time to party with these home-made cocktails!

Preparing cocktails at home is easy, funny and also cheap! to organize a good party with music and friends you only need the right ingredients and a shaker to mix them all. Test your ability as a barman and choose between these simple recipes!

1-Cuba Libre

Ingredients and proportions:
*3/10 of white rum
*juice of half lemon
*7/10 of CocaCola

How to do:
Put all the ingredients in a glass for long drink. Finally pour CocaCola based on the alcoholic taste you want.


Ingredients and proportions:
*2 parts Bacardi Carta Blanca
*½ fresh lime
*12 fresh mint leaves
*2 heaped bar spoons of caster sugar
*dash of soda water
*crushed ice

How to do:
Put the four lime wedges into a glass, then add the sugar and muddle (squish everything together) to release the lime juice. Then put the mint leaves on one hand and clap. Rub the mint leaves around the rim of the glass and drop them in. Use a muddler, bar spoon to gently push the mint down onto the lime juice. Half fill the glass with crushed ice and pour in the Bacardi Carta Blanca. Stir the mix together until the sugar dissolves. Top up with crushed ice, a splash of the soda water and garnish it with a ring of mint


Ingredients and proportions:
*6/10 of white rum
*3/10 of lemon juice (or lime)
*sugar syrup

How to do:
You have to mix all the ingredients in the shaker for 8 seconds and put in it some ice cubes.


Ingredients and proportions:
*5/10 of Tequila
*3/10 of Triple Sec
* juice of lemon or lime
*ice cubes
*a pinch of salt (it will be used to garnish the glass)

How to do:
Put all the ingredients in the shaker and shake them energetically. It will be better to pour the cocktail in the classic Martini’s cup.


Ingredients and proportions:
*5/10 of Vodka
*3/10 of Cointreau
*2/10 of currant juice
*lime juice
* ice cubes

How to do:
Put all the ingredients in the shaker and shake them energetically then pour in a Martini’s glass.

6-Japan Ice Tea

Ingredients and proportions:
*2/10 of vodka
*2/10 of gin
*2/10 of white rum
*2/10 of midori
*1/10 of sweet sour
*ice cubes

How to do:
Put the ice cubes, vodka, gin, white rum, midori and sweet sour in the shaker. Shake them for few seconds and, after pour all in the glass, add the sprite.

7-Gin Tonic

Ingredients and proportions:
*4cl of gin
*10cl of tonic water
* lemon

How to do:
Fill the glass with ice, then pour the gin and fill the the glass with the tonic water. Squeeze a segment of a lemon and garnish with a slice of it.
