Q1: Who can get a contract with RoomGranada
A1: Roomgranada offer flats for exchange students, Erasmus students, and for people who come for internships or work
Q2: Does RoomGranada offer short or long-term accommodation?
A2: We do not offer daily or weekly reservations. In the unlikely event that we are not at full capacity at the beginning of the current semester, we will sometimes offer monthly reservations. Usually, the minimum stay is 5 months, and the normal contract dates are:
1. From 1 September to 31 January.
2. From 1 February to 31 June.
3. From 1 September to 31 June.
4. From 1 July to 31 September. (Ideal for students taking Spanish courses or having summer Internships)
We also have flats where you can stay for a shorter period than 5 months. Please contact us and we will do our best to try to accommodate you.
Q3: How much does it cost to live with RoomGranada?
A3: Roomgranada has multiple residences available, with many different room types, you can have individual or shared rooms. We also offer small/double/king size beds in many different room sizes. All of our properties and room types have different prices, so talking with one of our employees is the best way to find a place best suited to your needs and budget. The homeowners set the prices and our company does not charge any additional fees, resulting in low prices for you.
Q4: What is included in the contract price and what is not included?
A4: You have to pay extra for electricity, water, internet, cleaning service and gas in some flats (gas butano cost you chared with your flatmates ). The price of this depends on how much you use in total per flat. The average price per person is €50 per month.
Q5: What happens if I want to end my contract before the end date?
A5: You are of course always free to leave whenever you want, however you will still need to pay the remaining months of the contract. You can also try to find someone else to take over for you. We then sign the papers to this person and he/she will take care of the remaining months of rent. If you wish to leave earlier, please tell us as soon as possible, as we can try help you finding a new person to take over the flat. If we don't succeed in finding any new renters you will still need to take care of the remaining payments.
Q6: Is it possible to stay longer than it says in the contract?
A6: It is possible for you to stay longer than the end date of the contract. If you wish to stay longer, you simply come by the office and we will sign new papers for your new end date. It is not always possible to stay in the same flat because of other reservations. If you want to stay longer, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can arrange it for you.
